Good Things to Know for QCYC Opening Day 2010
Meal tickets: You can purchase meal tickets in advance at QCYC office Monday thru Friday and at the events. QCYC accepts cash, check, Visa & Master Card – no credit cards accepted on Friday night at dock. Meals marked aboveby ** paid for with cash or check as you order from their menu.
Explorer Bar: Tickets are sold at the bar. Beverage prices will be listed at the bar. Soft drinks are available in the vending machine in the Clubhouse 2nd floor galley.
Water Shuttle to SYC: Complimentary shuttle service is provided Friday Noon – 2300, Saturday 0730 – 2300, Sunday 0800 – Noon.
Ship’s Store: QCYC logo gear is available for purchase Wed-Sat 1700 – 2000 at our Ship’s Store on the Clubhouse 2nd floor, Visa & Master Card, check & cash accepted.
Raffle Drawings: tickets are available at QCYC General Meetings & at events for a donation of $1.00 each or $5.00 for 6 chances to win great prizes. Drawings will be held at each event - you need not be present to win.
Dancing to the band “The Tropics”: Join the fun dancing to the music of The Tropics Friday and Saturday 1930-2300 on the Clubhouse Upper Deck. Beer and Wine will be served on the Clubhouse Upper Deck 1930-2300.
Family Friendly Event: Opening Day is a perfect “Family Friendly” event to kick off the boating season, so bring your family & friends. This festival is open to the boating public & is a great opportunity to checkout our club and all its amenities if someone is interested in learning more about QCYC.
Laundry: Available for our moored guests only, facilities are located on the east side of our Clubhouse, on parking level. Doors will be unlocked 0600-2000.
Parking & Access to Grounds: Gate to parking lot will be closed, accessible by QCYC member cardkey. Limited parking is available on street. Parking will be available SATURDAY ONLY at The Boyer Foundation.
Restrooms & Showers: Ample restrooms located on 1st and 3rd floors of Clubhouse, Free shower on 1st floor. Lobby doors unlocked 0600.
