From the Commodore (COVID-19)

Dear QCYC Members,

QCYC leadership has been diligently monitoring the outbreak and spread of respiratory illness caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We are closely following the requirements of the WA Phased Approach and will make regular updates as needed.
Because the health and safety of Members, staff, and the community is top priority, we want you to know the steps we are taking:

  1. The Office Manager will be working from home except Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Any updates will be noted on the QCYC calendar.
    1. If you have office matters, please contact Elise via email at office@queencity.org.
    2. Vendors can ring our Main Entrance doorbell for dock access. Click here for instructions.
  2. We again ask any Member who may be ill to not enter the building. For those who are healthy and enter indoors, we ask that everyone wear a mask or face shield unless they are seated at a table.
  3. The cafe will officially reopen with limited seating per King Country regulations for Friday Lunch and Saturday Breakfast & Dinner.
    • Occupancy has been reduced to 50% for indoors and 50% for outdoors as King County remains in Phase 2.
    • Be prepared to take your food to-go if there is no seating readily available.
  4. The Ship's Store will be closed until September during our summer break.
  5. Reciprocal moorage for guests is not allowed until further notice.

We are closely watching this rapidly changing situation.  As we move ahead, I will keep you posted of any other changes to Club activities. Please utilize the QCYC calendar as your primary scheduling resource.
