Seattle Yacht Club - Invitation to Dine at the Ward Room

All QCYC Members, 

As a Grand 14 member club, the Bridge and Board of Seattle Yacht Club would like to extend an invitation to Queen City Yacht Club to dine at our Portage Bay Mainstation in the Ward Room. 

We are pleased to extend this privilege to your members under the conditions outlined in the enclosed document (see below).

Guidelines for Use of Seattle Yacht Club by Grand 14 Yacht Club Members

PRIVILEGES

Seattle Yacht Club (SYC) is pleased to welcome members of the Grand 14 Yacht Clubs to enjoy dining in our Ward Room up to four (4) times per calendar year and make purchases at our Ship's Store at the SYC Portage Bay Mainstation. 

CLUBHOUSE LOCATION

SYC's Mainstation is located in Seattle at 1807 East Hamlin Street, on the southeast side of Portage Bay, 1/4 mile southwest of the Montlake Bridge, just north of the Highway 520 Bridge crossing Lake Washington and a short distance from the University of Washington. Parking is on a space available basis. 

DINING HOURS & RESERVATIONS

The Ward Room is open for dinner Wednesday - Sunday, from 5:30pm - 9:00pm. Lunch is served during the month of December on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Since the Club is closed for some holidays and not available during special events, reservations are required to confirm availability. Reciprocity will not be extended for special events such as Thanksgiving or Easter. Call the Front Desk at (206) 325-1000 to make a reservation. 

CHECK-IN AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES

Upon arrival, please check-in at the Front Desk located on the second floor of the clubhouse. At that time, you will be asked to present a current yacht club membership card, photo identification, and Visa or MC. A guest courtesy card will be issued to you. Please present your guest card when purchasing food, beverages, or counter gifts. A credit card will be requested after each purchase is completed. A 3% convenience fee is added to credit card purchases. Cash and checks are not accepted. 

Front Desk Hours

Monday  8:30am - 3:00pm (Closed Holidays)

Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am - 10:00pm

Sunday 10:00am - 9:00pm

ATTIRE

Business or business casual attire is expected in the Ward Room. 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Guests are required to comply with all Club rules and regulations, which include no use of cell phones inside the Clubhouse, on the decks or the front porch area. A service charge is added to all food and beverage purchases and additional tipping is not allowed.
