CALL TO ORDER: Commodore Krows called the meeting to order in the Clubhouse at 1930 hours.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Vice-Commodore Anhalt led the general membership in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
SENIOR MEMBER RECOGNITION: Rear Commodore McCroskey announced and recognized Captain Bob Brown, as the senior member in attendance.
READING OF THE MINUTES: Secretary Grimm read the minutes of the previous meeting and they were approved as amended.

APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP: None
INITIATION OF MEMBERS: Membership Chairman introduced and led the initiation ceremony for Captain Bob Renfrow. Commodore Krows administered the oath of membership.
COMMODORE: Commodore David Krows reported on a number of upcoming events:
VICE-COMMODORE: Vice Commodore Anhalt reported that numerous members have contributed to helping get the clubhouse in shape. He also reported that the dock crews have rebuilt the ramps to the work floats and that they are experimenting with non-skid paints
Lastly, the Vice-Commodore noted that some boats were still not in compliance with club rules and that he further noticed boats without proper registration.
REAR COMMODORE: Rear Commodore McCroskey reported that the first grounds party of the season would be Oct 15th. Thanked Captain Dave Nelson for his work as chairman in the previous years and noted that Captain Gary Fisker is the new chairman.
TREASURER: None
REGATTA POWER: Chairman Bob Lindal reported that the winner of the Port Orchard Race would determine the winner of the Jerry Bryant Race.
COMMODORES BALL: P/C Terry Baker invited members to attend and announced that October 12th is the deadline for reservations.
OLD BUSINESS: Secretary Grimm announced to the membership that Captain Sam Rowland was mistakenly withdrawn from membership at the last meeting. A motion from the floor was made to rescind the withdrawal. The motion was seconded and passed by unanimous voice vote.
NEW BUSINESS: past Commodore Carl Weiss commented that the lighted boat parade is coming up in December and asked for help from members for turn boats.
Captain Bob Yates offered to pick up batteries from the club but mentioned that members need to buy them from him
RECEPTION: R/C McCroskey again recognized Captain Bob Brown as the senior member in attendance. Forty-three members were present with five guests. Five past commodores were present and recognized. Captain Dale Roberts, # 532, was the junior member in attendance.
QUARTER POT: Captain Bob Renfrow pulled for Friday lunches and quarter pot. Captains Smith and Carlisle won Friday lunches. Captain Gary Fisker was not present to win the quarter pot.
GOOD & WELFARE: Secretary Grimm provided good and welfare.
The meeting was adjourned at 2021 hours.
