CALL TO ORDER: Commodore Baker called the meeting to order in the Clubhouse at 1930 hours.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Vice-Commodore Krows led the general membership in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
SENIOR MEMBER RECOGNITION: Rear Commodore Anhalt announced and recognized Captain Robert Brown, as the senior member in attendance.
READING OF THE MINUTES: Secretary read the minutes of the previous meeting and they were approved as read.
CORRESPONDENCE: The Secretary read a letter of withdrawal from Captain Salah Yashruti.
ACTION ON CORRESPONDENCE: Upon motion from the floor and second, the request for withdrawal by Captain Yashruti was approved by voice vote of the general membership.
APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP: The Secretary read a letter of application for membership from Captain
COMMODORE’ S FINAL REMARKS: Commodore Terry Baker made a few final remarks before the deinstallation of his bridge. He also reported on the upcoming events:

VICE-COMMODORE: Vice Commodore Krows thanked a number of members for all their hard work.
REAR COMMODORE: Rear Commodore Anhalt reported that the new security gate will be functional on Oct 2. The gate will be open from 6am –11pm. Lastly, he reported that eight batteries were left by the dumpster and reminded members that they needed to return the old cores to the distributor.
TREASURER: Treasurer Lewis Titland reported that Oct billing going out on 10/1.
FLEET CAPTAIN: Fleet Captain Randolph reported that he is returning as the cruise chairman and noted the upcoming events. More information will follow at subsequent meetings.
CHANGE OF WATCH: Past Commodores Russ Oberg Jeff Ewell, Carl Weiss and Larry Chmela presided over the Change of Watch ceremony. The new officers and board members were given their oaths of office.
INCOMING COMMODORE: Newly installed Commodore Krows made some opening remarks, thaning his mate, Margaret, and all those who attended the ceremony.
COMMODORE’S MATE RECOGNITION: First MateMargaret Krows thanked Marge Baker on behalf of the rest of the officers mates.
REGATTA POWER: Chairman Bob Lindal presented the club with several awards from the Stimson Race , and mentioned the upcoming races:
- Port Orchard
- Flag Officers Race
- SYC-QCYC Challenge Race
ROAD RALLY: Chairman Ron Nolan reported that the road rally was a tremendous success and thanked all who attended.
FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL: Jeff Ewell reported that the PCs put on a great dinner and had over 120 people showed up.
MICROSOFT CRUISE: Chairman Marv Elbon reported that QCYC will be providing boats fo the cruise on October 3rd and further reported that Microsoft will be donating $8,000 to the club for its efforts.
ENTERTAINMENT NIGHT: Bill Grayson, speaking for the chairman, announced that it was going to be a good time and invited all to attend.
OLD BUSINESS: Daryl Anhalt thanked Eric Wood as membership chairman and for becoming the new outstation chairman. He also thanked Steve Farber for his work and lastly thanked Dave Nelson for the work on the grounds.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
RECEPTION: R/C McCroskey again recognized Captain Bob Brown as the senior member in attendance. Fifty-one members were present with twelve guests. Eight past commodores were present and recognized. Captain Stephanie Weiss, # 520, was the junior member in attendance.
QUARTER POT: Captain ________________pulled for Friday lunches and quarter pot. Past Commodore Oberg and Commodore Krows won Friday lunches. Captain Steve Farber was present to win the quarter pot.
